About

Susan Rogers Roylance and her husband, Stephen

Susan Rogers Roylance works in wood, leaded glass, metal, textile, and acrylic. She has sold her work directly and through gallery representation for over forty years. She lives in Western Massachusetts, in a net-zero house she designed with her husband.

This time, the medium is words. She is at work on her second novel. A novel about grief, memory, and the things families never say out loud. Told across two timelines. A girl learning to survive an unanswerable loss, and a woman confronting what that loss actually cost. A novel about the stories we build to survive what we can't understand, and what happens when, years too late, the truth finally arrives.
